ReplyDeleteThis book is about a hockey team (The Screech Owls) that is playing for the Little Stanley Cup Tournament.The main character, Travis, overhears two men planing to steel the Stanley Cup and hold it for ransom! Then, Travis and two of his friends try to stop the men.
I like this book because it is mysterious, suspenseful ,and I love hockey and it's filled with hockey.

DOLPHIN TALE 2 By:Charles Martin Smith
ReplyDeleteThis book is about two little dolphins. One of the dolphins was hurt so she was brought to the Marine Aquarium for help. The main characters Sawyer and Hazel welcomed her by naming her Hope. The only problem is nobody knows if the other dolphin, Winter, will accept Hope as a friend.
I like this this book because I like marine animals and I like hearing about marine animal stories.

Percy Jackson By: Rick Riordan
ReplyDeleteThis book is about a boy who lives in NYC, he has many unexpected journeys he will come across in his life. He thought of himself as a normal boy until his best friend had to show him he is a half blood (daughter or son of a god). He will have to complete a quest he was given and prove to the gods and half blood citizens he is a true hero, will he survive the journey?
I liked this book because it is breathtaking and makes you wonder "what's next"?

Out of my Mind By: Sharon M. Draper
ReplyDeleteThis book is about a girl named Melody who was born with a disease and because of it she can't talk or walk. She gets made fun of by a girl named Molly and a girl named Claire. Melody goes through lots of problems but Mrs. V. (her neighbor) finds an instrument that can speak what she wants to say. Also, she is really smart and once everyone finds that out, she wins a big math competition.
I really like this book because when I read it I got really into the book when sad or exciting things happened and I almost felt like I knew the characters in the book

Diary diary of a Wimpy Kid Dog Day by Jeff Kinney
ReplyDeleteThis book is about a boy named Greg who is looking forward to spending his summer playing video games and hanging out with his friends, but his dad thinks they need to bond and ruins his plans. Greg lies and says he has a job at the country club to avoid him but Rodrick his brother threatens to tell. Greg learns that his summer would have been better if he stayed in the house.
I liked this book because it was funny and it's kind of my humor. A great book if you want to laugh!

Ranger's Apprentice The Ruins of Gorlan By John Flanagan
ReplyDeleteThis book is about a person named Will who wants to become a knight but he is chosen to be a Ranger. Will becomes a Ranger apprentice because he has to learn from his teacher (the castles ranger) named Halt. At first Will thinks that a ranger does nothing but Will quickly learns that a ranger has great responsibilities and adventures.
I liked this book because it is adventurous and it keeps you wanting to know what happens next. I would recommend this this book and series to anyone who is waiting for an adventure.

ReplyDeleteThis book is about 4 kids who got stranded on a Island. They were supposed to have a vacation on a boat until a big storm pulled in. These kids did not get along they will have to see what will happen next.
I like this book because it get very interesting and teaches you a few life lessons.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid The Long Haul By:Jeff Kinney
ReplyDeleteThis book is about when Greg wants to have a great summer but gets surprised with a road trip. He and his family have a long experience from getting a bad hotel room to losing their wallets and phones at a water park. Greg even got bitten by a pig and had to go to the vet.
I like this book because its funny and entertaining and also interests me.

Vacation Under the Volcano - Mary Pope Osborne
ReplyDeleteThis book is about 2 kids named Jack and Annie. They go on an adventure way back in Ancient Roman Times to find a riddle. They need to find the riddle before a deadly volcano erupt's and destroy's the whole town of Pomeii.
I like this book because I learned about Volcano's and Ancient Roman times.

ReplyDeleteThis book is about a girl in sixth grade named Miranda who lives in New York City. She knows NYC inside and out and has seen many things with her best friend Sal. Miranda starts receiving mysterious notes saying someone is going to die. She doesn't know when, why, where or how. Miranda must solve clues to complete missions before someone gets hurt, or worse!
I like this book because it was exciting and made me want to read more and figure out how the book would end. I also liked this book because I felt like I knew the characters and it was also a very cliff hanging book!!

ReplyDeletethis book is about a boy Cheezie who goes to his uncle's summer camp and is in for a big suprize he think's that he is going to be with his friends at summer camp but he is in a different cabin cheezie thought the summer was going to be terrible but it turns out to be okay.I like this book because it is funny and interesting.

The ghost,hoover porterhouse III helps billy fit in at his school but hoover is failing ghost school so his boundries are getting smaller. I like this book because i like the authors and it is funny

My book is about a boy named Danny who lived in New York City then one day his friend named Finn fell 15 feet and had to go to the hospital His ma told him that they had to move to Hawaii. After he moved to Hawaii, he saved a boy named Aki then from a warthog, then he returned Aki to his mom then there was a big explosion, after that Danny went looking for his mom. He went down to the Pearl Harbor , he didn’t find his mom but what he did find was a plane with a machine gun firing at him so he ran into a car to find his friend Mack. Mack drove him to the hospital to find his mom and he had to help her with a lot of patients.
I really liked this book because I like the learning about the history of World War II.

this book is diary of a wimpy kid old school by Jeff Kinney.This is about a kid named Greg.He gets a new pig.Then he gets a buddy that is in first grade and he writes all the homework for him also getting perfect scores.Greg has a schedule on his door without it he can get things mixed up. I like it because it makes me laugh.

ReplyDeleteIt was the first day of school when they are waiting for a teacher. He failed 0 out of 50 capitals, in his capital test. He and Rowley joined the safety patrol.
I liked the book because it was sometimes funny and it talks about Gregory's life when he was a kid.

Dragon Masters by Tracy West.
ReplyDeleteThis book is about 4 kids Drake, Rori, Anna, and Bo who each have their own dragons and fight the wizard Maldred. Maldred is trying to steal the kids potion. Maldred's dragon gives up on his own owner and goes to the other team.
This is one of my favorite books because it is about dragons who fight each other.

ReplyDeleteMy book is about a kid named Jamie Grimm who had an injury leaving him in a wheelchair. He is a kid comedian who travels around the world and goes to competitions to see who is the funniest kid on the planet. But now in my book Jamie is making a show on how his life is and some of it is pretty challenging.
I like my book because it makes me laugh.
